According to Variety.com, Robert Pattinson will be a part of the cast of a new film, Unbound Captives, alongside Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. Madeleine Stowe, the screenwriter, will also direct. Originally, Stowe intended to star in the film and turned down a $5 million offer for the script when she did not receive a guarantee of a role. According to Stowe, Pattinson accepted the role last fall before the Twilight hype.

Unbound Captives is a period drama about a woman (Weisz) whose husband is killed and her children kidnapped by a Comanche war party in 1859. She is rescued by a fronteirsman (Jackman). Pattinson will play the son.
