A new comedy drama by Caroline Aherne, The Fattest Man in Britain, will be produced by ITV Studios and feature Timothy Spall as Georgie who is on a mission to become the country's biggest man. Georgie's only contact with the outside world is through his friend Janice and the many curious tourists led to his home by his exploitative agent, Morris. Georgie must decide between between losing weight or to continue on his quest for the fattest man title as a mark of status. Spall will don a fat suit for the character who is so obese he cannot leave his chair. The 90 minute drama is scheduled to begin filming later this summer.
